Dr. Paul Kedrosky an investor, writer, and academic, as well as a former equity analyst. He has invested in more than 60 companies, now accounting for in excess of $20-billion in market value. He has also founded various companies.
In addition to his venture investing activities, Dr. Kedrosky has published widely across academic and non-academic outlets. He has written extensively on the changing nature of global economies, financialization and its economic consequences, and the future of risk capital.
With respect to non-academic publications, he has contributed more than 100 columns to outlets around the world, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the National, Post, the Economist, the Financial Times, and many others. He has also been quoted by journalists in many of these publications. He is former a senior contributor at Bloomberg, where he appeared weekly on Bloomberg Television, as well as writing opinion columns.
Dr. Kedrosky has held academic positions at the University of California., San Diego, as well as at the University of British Columbia, where he won multiple awards for his teaching. He was also formerly a Senior Fellow at the Kauffman Foundation.
He has a Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario, a master’s degree from Queen’s University, and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Carleton University.
